Me: Without deep complaining, work has made many things much harder. I wish I could say I knew how any of this would turn out. So let's talk about things I can control!




Sabrina Spellman

Sabrina is never a voice that's too far away, but she definitely needs something to wake her up and get her going again. Honestly, there's just so many possibilities provided by a canon update that I'm going to end up going for it. I have two possible places to cut the update off-- while I want her to go through a lot of that stuff, I'm not sure whether I want her to know she dies, and if I do, I want to cut it off mid-epilogue (so she'd hear Nick but not know why he's there). Lots of good items are in this, eldritch gods that could cause some great plot.

I am also going to push forward on her moving up the ladder at Leviathan, and have her start some business courses or something with the aim of her taking over the business someday. I would love for people to maybe work there with her? Maybe something in here about being a better partner to Charlie and Rosie.

If you have any potential disastrous magic things you need, stop by any time!



Lisbeth Salander

Lisbeth also needs some stuff to do-- I think a canon rewatch with some of the Millennium stuff from Sweden thrown in will help too, but she's a little quiet. When I am in a space where I'm not stressed out of my mind, she's louder. I would really like to get her involved in something canon-flavored, or also always spooky shit. I still wanna tag her in at ye olde hargreeves dance party, since she wants to meet Vanya after Vanya's run-in with Sam.

She's gonna marry a big dorky sasquatch. :D

Definitely asking for ideas here on things she can get into, problems to cause!



Theon Greyjoy

Theon's in good shape. He's getting sexy times with his rugged older lover, he has friends, and he's happy. I'm going to let him enjoy it a little while, at least.

I want to do a Homeplot for him this summer, though. (Sooner if we got back to distance learning!)



Dan Torrance

Dan's been quiet recently, because he's been happy and his life has been decent. He (like Lisbeth) is also someone where I need to find a quiet place to do his tags, I can't bop them out the same way I can with others.

I did a rewatch to wake him up a little, which was really helpful. He's got an item post I'm working on with Leah where he has an awful nightmare that he ends up pushing on Marcus and then they wake up and there's an item. I know my book and movie canon are melding somewhat, but I still think it works. I haven't given up on doing something larger with the Overlook, but I'm thinking I may need to have it be smaller than I'd originally thought if I'm going to be successful.

Something else I would really, really like is a chance for Dan to have someone he's teaching or mentoring in being psychic or something similar to his powers.



Stanley Uris

Oh, Stan, I've done a lot to you. I'm feeling good about where he's at, though, and the plot he has to work through. He's happier living with Bill and Richie, he's made new friends, he has a crush (that he's unlikely to act on for a good while yet), and he's getting help for his issues.

I have a very low-key EP planned for him in which he finds an injured bird and nurses it to health. Is the metaphor a bit heavy-handed? Maybe, but I love it. I'm just riding out his growth and enjoying it.



Luther Hargreeves

I love this dumb moron. He's got enough personal stuff to work through that I think that plus any plot that comes city-wide or with his siblings will serve just fine. Some surprises have been that while he's big and dumb and awkward, he remembers when that wasn't the case. Part of this is my own meta-- as Number One, he would have had confidence, arrogance, but there's no way Reggie let him not have skills to back it up with, and that does include speaking to people. I'm going to guess that he felt fairly confident in himself as a superhero and person until they lost Five and Ben, and then as everyone peeled away he was still managing to make it work until it absolutely didn't. Then he goes through the body alteration and moon business where he wasn't interacting and just sitting in his (perceived) failure, doing the same thing every day (so not challenging himself), and generally hating himself.

I have a lot of feelings here! Mostly, I'm balancing the enjoyment of playing him as the himbo he honestly is with the potential that's still there. Gonna be a time of learning about himself and gaining confidence.

Future
I've got my hands well full right now, but there's a couple of possibilities that I feel like are no secrets.

We need a thread for Lisbeth and Sam, so Sam can address some of the stuff that's holding him back from moving forward with the wedding. Like, I think it just occurred to him that he HAS been holding back, but he knows she deserves him being honest about it.

OBVIOUSLY HE WANTS TO MARRY HER, and as soon as he's able to talk it out, I think they'll be able to move ahead and just do the City Hall thing and then have a party for their friends.

I already talked to you a bit about this just now, but there's stuff for Sabrina (and possibly Dan!) in terms of the magical school! I think that's definitely worth exploring with both of them. It might give Dan a place to find someone to mentor.

Finally commenting on this! I think if you do the canon update, it makes sense to spare her from knowing she dies (though this might also just be my residual grouchiness at that epilogue, ha) because god knows Brina's been through enough. It's maybe not any nicer to make her think she both saves the world and lives, but it's...better? idk

I still don't go here but I am very glad to see a plan for Stan having a marginally nicer day, injured birds and all.

I was thinking that I could probably safely pull her anywhere from just after being brought out of the Void to before they actually begin the ritual. OR possibly even before Morningstar crashes back through. I'd rather have her mostly up to date and not know how it ends than go through the death stuff (though I did have a scenario in which I fucked the epilogue through editing).

But most likely seems to be to take her up through just before Sabrina Morningstar comes back through the mirror. I get all the pieces I really want, and while she knows there's more to be done, it's hopeful.
